What does the AviaPure tap filter do?

The four-layer cartridge (stainless mesh, diatomaceous earth, activated carbon and a PP cotton pad) reduces the chlorine taste and odour of treated town water and traps sediment and rust flakes. It is made for municipal tap water and is not a treatment for untreated, tank or microbiologically unsafe water.

How long does a cartridge last?

About three months of normal household use. Replace it sooner if the flow slows. Every system ships with a spare 6-month pack (two cartridges).

Is it easy to install?

Yes. Unscrew the aerator at the tip of your tap, fit the matching adapter ring (five are included), and screw the filter on. No tools and no plumber; about a minute.

Does it fit every tap?

It fits standard kitchen taps with a removable aerator. Pull-out, pull-down and sprayer taps, and taps without a removable aerator, are not compatible. Use our fit checker or email a photo of your tap to support@aviapure.com before you order.

Orders and shipping

How long does delivery take?

Orders are sent within 1 to 2 business days with tracking. Typical delivery: Australia and New Zealand 10 to 20 days; United States and Canada 8 to 15 days; Europe 8 to 15 days. Shipping is included in the price.

Where do you ship?

Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and the European countries listed at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Your shipping confirmation email has the tracking number; paste it on our Track your order page.

Returns and warranty

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days after delivery to return an unused item for a refund. See the refund policy for the steps.

Is there a warranty?

One year against manufacturing defects. Email support@aviapure.com with your order number and a photo.

Discounts

How do I use a discount code?

Enter it in the discount box at checkout. One code can be used per order.

Replacements

When should I change the cartridge?

Every three months, or sooner if the flow slows. A yearly reminder comes with your order confirmation, and replacement packs ship free.

How do I change it?

Unscrew the housing, lift out the old cartridge, drop in the new one and screw the housing back on. It takes about ten seconds.
