  • Stage 1 & 5: Stainless Steel - Filtration

The first line & last line of defense in the filtration process, this layer features tiny holes that effectively capture larger particles such as dirt, rust, and sand as water passes through. By removing these visible impurities early on, it helps to ensure the water is cleaner and clearer for the subsequent filtration stages, making it safer to use.

  • Stage 2: Diatomaceous Earth Clay - Fine Filtration

The second layer uses diatomaceous earth clay to provide fine filtration. Known for its exceptional ability to trap microscopic particles, diatomaceous earth clay removes impurities that are too small for earlier layers to catch. This stage helps to further clarify the water by filtering out finer sediments and contaminants, ensuring the water is as clean and pure as possible before moving to the next stage.

  • Stage 3: Activated Charcoal - Deep Filtration

The third layer features activated charcoal, which works to remove even more dissolved impurities. This material is highly effective at adsorbing chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other chemicals that can affect the taste and odor of water. As the water passes through the activated charcoal, it is further purified, improving both its clarity and flavor before the final filtration stage.

  • Stage 4: PP Cotton - Precision Filtration

The fourth layer uses polypropylene (PP) cotton, which provides precision filtration by trapping fine particles, dust, and other small debris that may still remain in the water. Its dense yet porous structure ensures that any remaining impurities are effectively removed, leaving the water cleaner and clearer before the final stage of filtration.
